La Machina

La Machina is my personal AI ecosystem and the factory that produces the other projects. I talk to five main bots; other helper bots work behind them. It brings together automations, connections and apps of my own. Its story starts in episode 0.

Security objective

A standard above ordinary market practice

The programme’s ambition is to develop a data-handling and confidentiality system that is more demanding than ordinary market practice. This is a design objective that must be demonstrated through technical, security, privacy and operational testing; it is not a quality claimed as proven today.

The dashboard

The dashboard is the interface I use to see and direct my bots from my Mac and phone. I want to know who is doing what, what has stopped and what is waiting for my decision, without piecing the work together by jumping between conversations.

Telegram is still where I talk to them. Here I bring projects, owners and tasks together. I can prepare an assignment and move to the conversation with the bot responsible. Look at everything. Act only on what I approve.

Main tabs: Projects, Agents, Monitoring, Kanban, Attention, Command and Usage.

The images are based on the real La Machina app, with different names and data.

How it works

  1. 01

A team that evolves — Each bot is born by copying and improving another. The branches that work carry on and branch out again; the ones that don't are left behind.

  2. 02

Each bot, its own job — Each one has its speciality. For example, Ariadna runs this blog and coordinates the workers who translate, prepare the images and publish.

  3. 03

Telegram as command centre — I talk to each bot, and to groups of several at once, to coordinate teams across different projects.

  4. 04

Automations and connections — Scheduled tasks, such as the daily news, connections with other applications, and my own apps.

  5. 05

One interface that controls everything — From my own interface I see the processes, the usage and activity of each bot, the project cards, and the status of the computer and of the different applications.

  6. 06

I decide — The bots prepare and propose, but nothing important goes out without my “yes”.
