La Machina
How I’m building my AI assistant, step by step.
I started on 7 September 2026 wanting a JARVIS. Today La Machina has five main bots I talk to, working for me every day, with other helper bots behind them. Here I tell the story of how it has grown: what worked, what failed and what I learned.
Today all my bots use Claude Opus. GPT is for other tasks.
Fabloulous is my wizard of the cyber world, cheerful and chatty. Since 23 October he has been an equal among the other bots and has been responsible for the mobile voice bridge. That bridge is still in development.

I tried, got things wrong and tried again. The first Alonides began on Signal, moved to Telegram and ended up living on my computer, where I started cloning it.

I wanted a JARVIS
I wanted an assistant that remembered things, did what I asked and kept the conversation going as I moved from my phone to my computer or my car. I was using AI in a chat and didn’t even know how to create a bot. This is how La Machina begins.
